WIMM Labs has announced their new computer platform-based watch. At first glance, the device may look like an iPod Nano, but packs in a whole new set of ideas to the regular wristwatch. Developers of the shiny gadget have already started to create apps for the app store that will be set for the watch. The apps will be downloaded through a seperate device, and then linked with the watch through WiFi in order to use the applications.
With the release of this new product, the Nike+ Sportswatch and iPod Nano may have a new marketing rival. With it’s sleak design, gorgeous interface, and easily accessible app market, the WIMM Computer Watch will definantly be a success. The release date hasn’t been announced yet, and pricing can range from $200-$2000.
